Event Description
At this group meeting I am going to go over SharedObject. I have been doing a lot of work with SharedObject over the last year and it is a great class work with in Flash.
There are two different ways of using SharedObject that I will be discussing. Flash Player will allow you to store data locally on the users computer. We will go over some examples of this.
The second method is using remotely stored SharedObject. I will show how you can keep users updated with data from the server.
Finally there is another cool feature where you can have remote SharedObject call functions on the client machines that are connected to the server.
The Remote SharedObject stuff will be handled by showing how to set up Objects on the Red5 server that users can connect too.
